Independent Refuse is family-owned and operated. For over four decades, our company has been an active member in the Fairfield County community. We take pride in beautifying our neighborhoods and participating in charitable activities. If you are a non-profit group and are hosting a local event, please contact us.

BENNETT CANCER CENTER

Since its inception, Independent Refuse has been a proud sponsor of the Bennett Cancer Center's "Annual Walk Run" event. Stamford Health Foundation's WALK has raised over $4 million for local cancer services and programs. Each year, Independent Refuse donates time, money, and equipment to help support this very important cause.

On Sunday, June 4, 2006, we will join thousands to show support for all cancer patients and raise money for Stamford Hospitals' Carl & Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center. In addition to being a fun day of exercise, the WALK is also a celebration of National Cancer Survivors Day with a finish-line party featuring entertainment and refreshments.
