Bennet Cancer Center's "The Walk & Run"

To commemorate National Cancer Survivors Day, Independent Refuse will be participating in the 10th Annual Bennet Cancer Center's "The Walk & Run". On Sunday, June 5, over 4,000 walkers, runners, and volunteers will follow a 3-mile course at Czescik in Shippan Point in Stamford. The goal of this event is to raise $1 million to fund local cancer research, prevention, education initiatives as well as cancer services for local patients and their families. We are proud to be donating our equipment for the entire event.
